The Blackfriars Drawing Acquisitive aims to promote excellence and innovation in Australian works on paper.

The works acquired by the Blackfriars Trust will be held in Cootamundra with the specific purpose of putting together a significant collection of works on paper over the coming years for the enjoyment of the Cootamundra community and its visitors as well as travelling exhibitions to regional galleries.
